It was a good day on the land this Sunday. It was an honor to be in the presence of Indigenous leaders and culture bearers, who, in spite of everything, continue to love and care for the land. They continue to weave their cultural knowledge into a loving path that leads to a future in balance with the land, our more-than-human kin, and all creation. I am thankful to ST Forward and to all the partner organizations, volunteers, donors, and collaborators who created a space in Sunland-Tujunga for the visibility, wisdom, and leadership of Indigenous Peoples as we celebrated our second annual Sunland-Tujunga Indigenous Peoples Day. Now, let's honor their stories, songs, and vision by celebrating and honoring them and the land every day of the year. We are proud of our community of Sunland-Tujunga!
