Newly installed banners at Pinewood Elementary School!

We just installed these student-designed banners at Pinewood Elementary! I'm feeling very proud of the work that these young artists have created to bring attention to serious issues in our community such as illegal dumping, unsafe traffic, and actions that harm nature. We created these posters with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders as part of civic engagement art workshops where students explored the power of the arts to uplift community concerns and to inform and support positive action.
